Dear Friend,
The birth of our Savior reminds us anew of the great price our Heavenly Father paid for our salvation—and of the intimate relationship made possible through the gift of His only Son, Jesus Christ.

2025 was a truly blessed year for both our family and the work God has entrusted to us. Tommye and I were married on her birthday, December 27, 1970, and we are now preparing to celebrate 55 years of marriage, with grateful hearts and great anticipation for what lies ahead. When we began our journey together, I was serving as a youth pastor while completing my final year of football at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

We met on a blind date arranged by friends from First Baptist Church, and just six months later—with the blessing of our parents—we were married, with both her pastor and my pastor co-officiating our vows. From the very beginning, our marriage has been centered on Christ and ministry. We chose
Matthew 6:33 as the foundation for our family and our life together, believing it to be true—and over the years, our lives have proven it so:
God blessed us with three godly children and a strong, loving marriage. We have also walked through deep sorrow. We lost our middle child when she was just 25 years old. The pain was overwhelming, yet in our darkest season we discovered that God is faithful. He supplied the grace to endure and the unshakable assurance that we will see her again. Hallelujah.

2025 was also a significant year in ministry. With President Trump elected to a second term, America stepped back from the brink and began reversing a destructive national course. While no leader is without flaws, our nation now stands at the threshold of a genuine revival - if we keep our eyes firmly fixed on Jesus Christ.

I had the unique opportunity to get to know
Charlie Kirk and to meet his bride shortly after their marriage. His sincere love for the Savior and for America reminded me of the extraordinary gift we have been given in the freest nation the world has ever known. The tragedy of his public execution plunged our nation into mourning, but it also served as a sobering reminder that freedom is neither free nor guaranteed. It can be lost when it is taken for granted.
At the same time, the spiritual awakening we are witnessing in churches, universities, and high school campuses is powerful evidence that God is not finished with America. Revival is possible—but it requires courage, faithfulness, and action. Like Nehemiah, each of us has a section of the wall to rebuild. If we will take our place, we can once again see our nation restored.

Recover America has been entrusted with a unique calling: to disciple pastors so they can educate and lead their congregations to understand their God-given responsibility to influence and save their communities. We teach pastors that they are:

“Ambassadors for Christ”
(“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20)

And that their churches are
Embassies for Christ, responsible for stewarding their influence—spiritually, morally, and civically—for the glory of God.

How does the church fulfill this responsibility? The answer is simple:
Know the candidates. Show up. Vote your values.

Too often, Christians lose ground because they fail to participate. That must change - and
Recover America exists to equip and mobilize the Church to do just that.

I could share many pages outlining our plans, but the bottom line is this:
We need partners.

Partners who will pray
Partners who will give
Partners who will stand with us.

Please make
2026 the year you stood up.

We need you.
