This month, we resumed our five One Minute commentaries carried on over
300 radio stations nationwide. A summary of three recent “My Takes”
is at the bottom of this newsletter. Please pray for this growing outreach.
Bill Gattis has been an invaluable contributor to this effort.

God is opening more and more doors. On February 3, I attended a dinner for a longtime friend and supporter,
Ms. Kat Wall, who is running for a seat in the House of Representatives in the Texas Legislature. I spoke on the need for pastors to encourage their people to vote their values on election day.
-
On Thursday, February 5, I am traveling to Lubbock to address the
“Pastors and Patriots” Summit, hosted by Citizens for Education Reform
and TPUSA Faith. I am honored to deliver the final address.
-
On February 11 at noon in Nacogdoches, we are hosting a complimentary luncheon for about
100 pastors and Christian leaders. State Representative and Pastor Nate Schatzline will be our special guest.
He and I will discuss how Christians can “Take Back Texas” by voting their values and running for office.

My Take Summaries
|
|
1) Winning in 2026
As I look toward the year ahead, I’m reminded that spiritual victory requires intentional preparation.
James 4:6–10 calls us to humble ourselves, repent, and draw near to God. I often compare it to putting on your game face
before a big game—stepping onto the field with seriousness and focus. If I want to live this year in spiritual victory,
I must take sin seriously and renew my commitment to walk closely with the Lord.
That’s my take.

2) America is a Spiritual Battle that Only God Can Handle
In recent years, I’ve watched highly organized movements and troubling cultural shifts take place across our country—attacks on
biblical values, ideological confusion, and a rapid erosion of faith and morality. While some point to political or financial
influences behind these changes, I see a deeper reality: America is in a spiritual battle. Our nation can be restored,
but only through a genuine return to God and a sweeping revival—a new Great Awakening.
That’s my take.

3) Pray That Our Supreme Court Justices Are Wise
As I’ve watched recent events unfold, it’s clear that the agenda voters overwhelmingly supported has faced heavy resistance—
not through public debate but through an unprecedented wave of lawsuits and court injunctions. Ultimately, the Supreme Court will
determine how executive power is to function moving forward. I believe this is a critical moment for our nation, and I’m praying
the Court exercises wisdom, clarity, and courage as it decides matters that will shape America’s future.
That’s my take.
