Dear Pastor, Church Leader and Friends of Recover America,

Our nation has been in a spiritual battle since its inception, testing the moral fiber and unity of our people.
A Nation in Spiritual and Moral Decline
Over the past 70 years, the intensity of challenges to our nation's spiritual, moral, and foundational pillars has intensified dramatically.

The Sanctity of Life and abortion have been a nationwide moral and political issue dividing our nation since 1973 when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution protected the right to have an abortion prior to the point of fetal viability.  In 2022, the Supreme Court reversed that ruling and left the decision to each state ... the people’s choice, but not a Biblical imperative.

Bible reading and prayer in public schools is still banned.  Several states are considering and some have enacted laws to remove this prohibition.  However, these efforts have been challenged and are currently tied up in the judicial system.

• In 2015, the Supreme Court
legalized same-sex marriage paving the way for the swift adoption of other radical left-wing initiatives, including the LGBTQ agenda, gender transitioning, and the introduction of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs not only into corporate America, but into our public school systems.

And in the process the values of this nation have drifted to what many would argue to be a state of moral relativism.
Has God Opened the Door for Revival?
The need for Christians to “awaken” and “engage” has never been greater if this   nation is to survive and return to its roots as a Judeo-Christian nation.

And I believe God has opened the door for another great spiritual awakening.  As people of faith,
we must lead the way as bold and courageous witnesses for Jesus Christ.

And we must also be “salt and light” in the communities where we live and work.  Only then can we effectively address the evils that have crept into our society.

This quote by
Edmund Burke carries a profound meaning ... "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,".

And far too many people of faith have been silent in the affairs of our local, state and federal governments.
God’s Word is Clear
God’s word is clear:  “ When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

And “we the people” determine who is in authority...  but only if we get involved, register, and vote ... in all elections!

According to Pew Research:
"Until the past few decades a Christian identity was so common among Americans that it could almost be taken for granted. As recently as the early 1990s, about 90% of U.S. adults identified as Christians. But today, about two- thirds of adults identify as Christians. Correspondingly, the number of self- identified Christians who are registered voters has also declined, although they may still represent the majority of all registered voters. But the question remains, how many of them actually vote?"
Estimates from several sources suggest there may be as many as 30-40 million individuals identifying as Christians who don’t vote in Presidential elections. Other estimates suggest that 15-20 million are not even registered to vote!
People of Faith Must Engage
Friends, it matters who is in office!

From the White House to the School House, decisions are being made by elected officials that impact the future of this nation and the well-being of our communities.

On
November 4, 2025, Texas residents will vote on 17 Texas Constitutional Amendments and also make critical decisions on 2 U.S. Congressional seats, 1 State Senator, a number of key Independent School Boards, and many other city, county offices and local bond issues.
Voter Registration is Essential
The current momentum toward a Godlier nation will only happen Christians continue to make their voices heard.

The deadline for registering to vote is Monday October 6th.  If you have not done so, please make this a priority and urge your family and friends to do likewise.

A complete list of critical dates for the November elections is as follows.
