This is simply another indication of the government’s intrusion on the Constitutional freedoms of all Americans. But it should not be surprising. The religious landscape of the United States has undergone major changes over the past 30 years. According to Pew Research:

"Until the past few decades a Christian identity was so common among Americans that it could almost be taken for granted. As recently as the early 1990s, about 90% of U.S. adults identified as Christians. But today, about two-thirds of adults identify as Christians. Correspondingly, the number of self-identified Christians who are registered voters has also declined, although they may still represent the majority of all registered voters. But the question remains, how many of them actually vote?"

Estimates from several sources suggest there may be as many as 30-40 million individuals identifying as Christians who don’t vote in Presidential elections. Other estimates suggest that 15-20 million are not even registered to vote!

Now is the Time for Christians to Engage

Friends, if Christians are to reclaim this nation for Christ, then each of us must be registered, and we must vote our faith values this November!

The general election will be held on November 5th. The deadline for registering to vote is Monday, October 7th. If you have not already, we encourage you to register to vote as soon as possible. And encourage those in your circle of influence to do the same. Our voices must be heard this November.

Other important dates on the Texas election calendar are as follows.

Last Day to Register to Vote: Monday, October 7, 2024
First Day of Early Voting in Person: Monday, October 21, 2024
Last Day of Early Voting in Person: Friday, November 1, 2024
Election Day: Tuesday, November 5, 2024
