Matthew 18:6 reminds us of how precious these young lives are to the God. “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned."
Ultimately, God’s judgment will come true. In the interim, this is a call to action for you and me. We cannot be found lacking.
In May of 2023, the largest number of school board elections in Texas will occur. Because they are not linked to a mid-term or Presidential election, the voter turnout is extremely low.
Men and women of faith must actively engage as informed voters to elect a conservative majority of Biblically grounded individuals to School Board positions who will work to change the curriculum and to remove the books and materials in public school libraries which are poisoning the minds of our children. |
The Problem in Public Schools – A Growing Crisis |
While spending massive amounts on education, the United States ranks relatively poorly when compared with other industrialized nations in terms of math, science, and reading skills.
However, there is a much more concerning and insidious issue. And that is the indoctrination of our children in our public-school systems with anti-God and anti-American agendas, which predictably could lead to the potential destruction of a generation of our youth, and impact generations to come.
These intiatives are not part of a passive agenda. They are an out-right attack on the souls of our children. So called “Drag-queens,” once seen only in shady “back street” establishments are making their way into mainstream of society and even into our school “reading hours.” The LGBTQ agenda continues to infiltrate every aspect of our society. The primary target for this vile indoctrination has been our vulnerable school age children as early as elementary school. To quote the San Francisco’s Gay Men’s Choir: “We are coming for your children!"
Parents around the nation are awaking to the fact that many of the K-12 school curriculums are including radical anti-American elements of the CRT agenda, as well as promoting the destructive notion that LGBTQ, gender fluidity, and transgenderism represent normal behavior. The abnormal is being promoted as normal. The ungodly is being characterized as acceptable and children are being mutilated by doctors and hospitals which capitalize on gender-reassignment surgeries. As a result, an entire generation of our school-age children are at risk. |

The Impact of School Boards Which Are Not Accountable to Parents |
While broad educational policy is normally set by State Boards of Education, most operational decisions, including critical curriculum decisions are made by Superintendents and local School Boards. In many, if not most communities, these School Board positions are occupied by liberal progressives, and largely unaccountable to the parents. The issues with School Boards first received national publicity in Loudoun County, Virginia over anti-racial (CRT) teaching and policies that allowed transgender students access to the restrooms of their choice. This high-profile encounter was a “wake-up” call to parents to find out what was going on in their own schools.
Since that time, parents around the nation and the State of Texas are finding out that our public schools have incorporated elements of anti-God, anti-American (CRT) in school agendas, at the expense of the fundamentals of math, reading, and science. Further, that the public-school libraries are filled with books and other literature that promote gender fluidity, transgenderism, the LGBTQ agenda, and many elements of the CRT.

Timing is Critical - You Can Make a Difference |
I strongly encourage you to check with your local school board for exact dates. For most independent school districts, the next round of school board elections will be held on May 6, 2023.
Registration for candidates occurs much sooner, with most districts doing so in the mid-January to mid-February timeframe.
Friends, if the school board district in which you live is having an election, may I challenge you to engage immediately to encourage your friends and neighbors to vote, and to recruit a candidate or register yourself with the next few weeks to assure a moral conservative will be on the ballot in May? When good people engage, good things happen, and your personal involvement can make a difference!
