Pride Month and the DEI Hoax

Solomon wrote in Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Halfway through Pride Month in the US, major companies who are choosing to defy God and elevate unrighteous behavior are seemingly more committed than ever to advance their belief that social acceptance and the bottom line is more important than the moral values of God’s Word or the direction in which their actions are taking the American culture. They do so under the misleading and self-serving banner of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.”

While reports vary, most of America’s major corporations, encouraged by the current administration, have rushed to gain or maintain “social acceptance” by embracing the DEI hoax, many taking it to extremes, openly supporting and enabling the immoral as moral and the un-Godly as acceptable behavior.

Friends, this widespread corporate arrogance is astonishing. Sadly, many church denominations have also made the decision that morality is determined by man, not by God’s Word. Far too many conservative denominations have remained passive or silent in the face of these evils. God will not be mocked, and Christians cannot be silent on these issues.

Is moral America waking up to the reality that we are in a battle for the soul of America and for the restoration of the Judeo-Christian values on which this great nation was founded? I believe so. I believe that millions and millions of Americans who still hold strong Biblical values are beginning to understand that we must actively engage in this battle.

Continue the Boycott

There is a glimmer of hope in the fact that many Americans have recently “spoken-out” with their consumer dollar. The “Bud Light” brand and the value of the parent company suffered greatly by the corporate choice to “honor” the one-year anniversary of the emerging transgender celebrity Dylan Mulvaney. And the immediate consumer and investor backlash against Target’s blatant promotion of transgender products is well documented. Sadly, neither corporation has apologized or changed their corporate stance. It is time for millions of Christians to boycott these and other companies that arguably are supporting or promoting life-choices which are grooming innocent children for a lifetime of confusion. I encourage you and those within your circle of influence to do so.

But we can do more; we must do more. It is time to say, Enough is Enough! And we pledge that Recover America will not give up this battle. We have recently been invited to join a group of nationally recognized organizations who are banding together to take the offensive against such wickedness in America and begin to take back the ground that has been stolen. You will be hearing more about that later, including our plans to host gatherings across Texas with hundreds of like-minded pastors to discuss how we can take back our state and our country.
